I grew up as the oldest of five children in Albany, New York. I started dancing when I was two and dance became my entire life.
I moved to Philadelphia and graduated from Temple University with a B.F.A. in Dance and a B.A. in Journalism. I danced with Eleone Dance Theatre while in college and was a part of my college dance team. I also created my own dance blog through Temple's Dance Program, where I was able to write for International blogs, interview dance legends like Desmond Richardson, and write reviews for the Prince Theater in Philadelphia.
After college I moved to New York City and interned at Dance Magazine. I am now a signed dancer with MSA Agency and a NASM certified fitness instructor.
Most recently, I worked as the Choreography P.A., assistant to choreographer Christopher Scott and a dancer in the new Warner Brother's Film "In the Heights" and created my own fitness brand, CitySweat.
While in new York I have danced for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, Forces of Nature Dance Theatre, XY Dance Projects, Eleone Dance Theatre, Kariamu and Company, Reveal Movement Dance Company and the Temple Diamond Gems Dance Team. I am trained in ballet, jazz, tap, Horton, theater, Umfundalai, contemporary, heels, house and hip-hop under Ebony Williams, Gary Jeter, Jessica Castro, Nijawwon Matthews, Dara Meredith, Kyle Clark and Dr. Kariamu Welsh amongst many.
I have choreographed pieces performed at Dixon Place NYC, Downtown Disney, Symphony Space NYC, and most recently assisted Christopher Scott in choreographing the "In the Heights" Trailer Event in NYC.
