Hi! Meghan here -
It all started in Albany, New York. I grew up dancing around the house, painting my nails at 6am, wearing bright colors, bandanas and 10 necklaces to school, and writing chapter book and lists using my pocket sized notebook and gel pen collection.
As the oldest of five children, I enjoyed being the leader and wanted to inspire my siblings by setting a good example. Dance, writing, and family was my entire life, and still is!
I graduated from Temple University with a dual degree in Dance and Journalism. I danced with Eleone Dance Theatre while in college and was on the dance team. I also created my own dance blog through Temple's Dance Program, where I was able to write for International blogs, interview dance legends like Desmond Richardson, and write reviews for the Prince Theater in Philadelphia.
After college I moved to New York City and interned at Dance Magazine (dance + writing!!) and found a new passion for health and wellness. I am now a signed dancer with MSA Agency and a NASM certified fitness instructor.
Most recently, I worked as the Choreography P.A. and a dancer in the new Warner Brother's Film "In the Heights" and created my own fitness brand, CitySweat.
What's next? I hope more dancing, more fitness, more writing, more traveling and more inspiring.
